The arboretum includes a collection of over 900 species of plants from southwestern Madagascar, including 90% are endemic to the region and 80% have medicinal properties. Among these many succulent species are recognized as threatened.

PLANTS

The guided tour through the botanical path of the arboretum allows you to appreciate the diversity of a unique flora in the world which has adapted, under sometimes extraordinary aspects, to the heat and the drought of this country. We also discover the relationships that have been created between man and the plant world through the use of medicinal plants.
